Aim

The transition of children from an elementary educational institution to primary school and from there to secondary school is determined by significant influencing factors. These include institutional design, social relationships, and emotional experience. Transitions are always shaped by the resources in the different subsystems in which the child grows up. In the form of shared responsibility and commitment, it can give children the sustainable educational support they deserve.

Content
  • Knowledge of culturally determined and culturally related differences incorporating current research findings
  • Knowledge of culturally shaped rules, norms, values, and symbols
  • " Principles of successful intercultural parental work involving transparent rules and clear "communication about the needs of the child
  • Accompanying children’s transitions in a language-sensitive way
  • Didactic models for educational transitions in the context of heterogeneity and pluriculturalism
  • Self-reflective awareness-raising through the examination of one’s own educational biography
