Aim

In this course, listening/listening comprehension and speaking are considered as basic skills in the field of learning German as a second language. It looks at different starting points for children with other first languages, acquisition strategies for listening comprehension and speaking in German at different levels as well as targeted, varied exercises to promote oral skills. Different listening and speaking situations (monologue/dialogue; analogue/digital) are also considered.

  • Acquisition strategies for listening comprehension and speaking in the learning field of German as a second language

  • Identification and differentiation of levels in listening comprehension and speaking according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
