(9) Entry into force, evaluation, and transitional provisions

Validity
This curriculum shall come into force as Version 1.0 on 1 October 2021 and shall remain valid until a new version comes into force.
Those students who, at the time of the entry into force of the new version, have a valid Bachelor’s programme for the teaching qualification at primary level with an underlying curriculum shall continue their study programme with the version of the curriculum they have started. The expiring Bachelor’s programme can be studied until 30 September 2024 and the expiring Master’s programme until 30 September 2025. Courses no longer offered can be taken in the new teacher training programme for the primary level; a list of equivalents is published in the bulletin. 

Previous degrees
Persons who have completed their teacher qualification programme for primary or special schools with a BEd with 180 ECTS-CP are eligible for access to the Master’s programme if they have also completed an extension programme in accordance with § 38d HG.

Evaluation
This curriculum is a work in progress. Its implementation is explicitly formatively evaluated; it is to be continuously improved. The current version can be seen from the version number and the date of creation.
