Aim
The aim of this course is to impart in-depth skills for planning, implementing, and reflecting on learning outcome-oriented teaching in interdisciplinary learning areas through collaborative planning and peer-evaluated reflection (lesson studies). The subject didactic analysis, including professional knowledge as well as empirical–didactic methods, offers the possibility for a successful pedagogical design of learning and teaching units.
Content
- Planning and reflection of lessons and individual learning processes in lesson studies settings (teaching practice)
- Design of differentiation-sensitive teaching and collaborative ways of working for learners (teaching practice)
- Promotion of group processes (teaching practice)
- Didactic justification of creative learning spaces and learning settings
- Profession-oriented teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Use of lesson study as a structured, documented QMS procedure for the continuous improvement of teaching.
- Use of QMS methods for the systematic planning, reflection and documentation of lesson study

- are able to collaboratively plan and implement theoretically and didactically sound teaching units and reflect on these in a peer-supported manner in the form of cyclical learning designs (lesson studies)
- can recognize students' learning starting points and begin to take these into account in their lesson planning (lesson practice)
- are able to promote cooperative and self-directed learning among students in a guided manner, taking into account aspects of learning diversity (teaching practice)
- are able to design and moderate media-supported and interdisciplinary learning settings (classroom management).
