Aim
Students conduct aesthetic-artistic research in various social forms and are able to open up aesthetic experiences and stimulate artistic-creative processes. They are able to develop aesthetic and artistic questions. They are able to critically analyse cultural phenomena, everyday culture and different aspects of perception and develop a professional ethos with sensitivity for diversity.

- Initiation of developmentally appropriate aesthetic experiences and creative artistic processes
- Development of aesthetic and artistic questions
- Image representations, image production and image function
- Function and effect as well as perception and expression of music
- Didactic processing of diverse artistic themes
- Methods of aesthetic experiential learning
- Knowledge of materials and methods - analogue and digital
- Experimental, conceptual, playful and exploratory methods of artistic aesthetic design and performative realisation
- Critical examination of cultural phenomena and everyday culture
- Sensitisation to diversity and development of basic knowledge of pedagogical diagnostics and didactic problem-solving skills
- Cooperation with cultural institutions

The graduates ...
- are able to recognise and analyse the arts as code systems with their respective possibilities and limitations
- are able to perceive aesthetic coding and decoding strategies with all their senses and critically reflect on their application in educational contexts
- are able to understand, interpret and apply metaphors, symbols and narratives in their cultural embedding and communicative function
- are able to compare, discuss and use cultural and media pedagogical concepts in order to plan and organise lessons in a language-sensitive and gender-appropriate way
- know various didactic models and methods to accompany and support children in encoding and decoding messages in aesthetic learning processes
- know the school and service law framework conditions for organising excursions and participating in creative-artistic workshops.
