As part of the Erasmus Days, we are creating a creative and interactive participatory event under the title Word Worlds. The aim is to highlight the diversity of experiences of our students, teachers, and researchers in the fields of culture, nature, and education, while offering a low-threshold entry point to international topics.
At the heart of the event is a keyword station set up in the entrance hall of the Baden campus of the University College of Teacher Education Lower Austria. Here, everyone is invited – students, teachers, researchers, and guests – to engage creatively with the theme. The task is simple: each participant can write down five keywords or make a sketch/drawing on a prepared bookmark, reflecting either an Erasmus experience or a personal association with culture and/or nature in teaching.
The bookmarks will then be attached with clothespins to a string stretching across the room – forming a colorful, ever-growing ribbon of European diversity. In addition, participants can leave their name and email address on a slip of paper, place it in a mailbox, and thus take part in a raffle for small prizes related to CultureNature Literacy.
The result will be a vibrant exhibition that continuously grows and enriches the #ErasmusDays at PH NÖ both visually and thematically.
