ZID (Central IT Service)
Aufgabenbereich
The task of the Central IT Service, or ZID for short, is to ensure a functional technical infrastructure for academic operations. It is a service point and support centre for AV media. AV equipment can also be reserved and borrowed here. Our area of responsibility includes, among other things:
- Provision of server infrastructure at the locations of PH NÖ
- Maintenance of the network infrastructure at the locations of PH NÖ
- Connection and security of the internet connections of PH NÖ
- Provision and maintenance of email services for staff and students
- Provision of the copying and printing infrastructure
- Provision and maintenance of workstations for staff and in the seminar rooms
- Central PH-ONLINE administration
