Practical pedagogical studies (PPS)

Aim

As part of this course, further professionalization of pedagogical-practical action takes place. The students see their profession as dynamic, interdisciplinary and constantly evolving. They are willing to continually reflect on their understanding of their roles, their personal development and their skills. Furthermore, the examination of subject areas typical of the profession as well as their own professional awareness should enable the students to act in a quality-oriented manner.

  • Planning, implementation and evaluation of subject-specific, subject-didactically and pedagogically sound lessons
  • Pedagogical diagnostics
  • Pedagogical professionalism and expertise
  • Individualization and differentiation in educational-practical settings based on individual learning starting points
  • Importance of social relationships and individual learning processes
  • Expansion and deepening of the subject areas of teaching, learning, instruction, education and educationally relevant interactions that are typical for the profession
