Aim
The phenomenon of health as an important aspect in the lives of all people is the subject of this course. The aim is to develop an understanding of healthy lifestyles. The focus is on the ability to create a movement and health-oriented school culture. These skills are acquired through individual-related physiological knowledge and through an action-oriented and reflective examination of various concepts such as "Mobile school" and "Healthy school" .

- Analysis and improvement of posture
- Create potential movement spaces in and around the school
- Experience gained through participation in project schools "Mobile school" and "Healthy school"
- Introduction to children’s yoga
- Cognitive control processes, systematic relaxation procedures, self-regulation techniques
- School-specific fields of action in stress prevention
- Anatomical and physiological aspects of movement, sport, and health
- Structure and function of the musculoskeletal system, osteology

- have a comprehensive knowledge of healthy and active lifestyles and can derive concepts for individual promotion from this knowledge
- can critically examine intervention measures in the field of prevention
- are able to express themselves on simple physiological and anatomical questions
- are able to design concepts for the creation of potential movement spaces in and around the school
- can combine sensorimotor skills and classroom teaching
- can perform breathing and body exercises from (children’s) yoga for improved perception and stress reduction
- are familiar with protective and risk factors of mental health and can set interventions to improve the school and class climate
- can conduct topic-related discussions with parents and have counselling strategies at their disposal
- are familiar with medical, scientific databases for researching health-related questions
- can relate both physical and psychological stress reactions and apply adequate interventions for themselves as well as for the learners
- can assess the stress on the growing body through athletic training on the basis of sound physiological knowledge.
