Aim

Digital media is an important resource for the tasks of learning coaching. Close to the pupils’ lifeworld, their use allows both a better understanding of the needs of the learners and an individual planning and documentation of learning processes. This requires the skills to critically select digital diagnostic programmes and evidence-based support material, to use them efficiently, and to compile and adapt them according to needs.

  • Digital testing and screening tools
  • Use of digital tools to document learning progress
  • Criteria for evaluating digital apps and internet-based applications
  • Use of mobile devices for promotion, individualisation, and cooperation
  • Realisation of individual, self-guided learning processes with digital media
  • Creation and presentation of digital support materials for specific support areas (e.g. supporting giftedness)
  • Digital communication possibilities for the dialogue with learners and their parents or educational partners
