Aesthetics
Aim
The students deal with fundamental questions of perception and aesthetics. Sensory perception in its diversity, development, and promotion are illustrated and made aware to the students through the reception of works and artistic production. Aesthetic concepts are analysed and questioned and reviewed for the target group of primary didactics. The focus is broadened to include pedagogical and aesthetic self-concepts. The child's development of the self is grasped through self-reflexive artistic interventions and thereby transposed to a pedagogical working level. Starting from the general role of self-concepts in aesthetic subject areas (music, fine arts, design, textile design, literature, performing arts, film) and the corresponding subject disciplines (music, art and design, technology and design, theatrical education), one's own abilities, preferences, convictions, and intentions in these areas are worked out. Aesthetic parameters are made conscious, and thus the spectrum of perception is expanded. Artistic techniques are tried out and applied, and aesthetic questions are discussed. Students are made aware of the frames of reference with which they compare their own performance, and educational science considerations are introduced.
