Culture opens up worlds
Aim
The aim is to acquire extended and in-depth knowledge, skills and abilities in art and the arts and their integration into primary school lessons in order to develop, deliver and reflect on learning tasks in an interweaving of receptive and productive practice. The focus is on an age-appropriate approach to art using selected examples in order to familiarise children with the different worlds that art can create and open up and to inspire them.

- Art and school: the importance of art and artistic expression at primary level
- Art and teaching: Methods and didactic approaches in the planning, organisation and reflection of teaching projects on artistic achievements in the compulsory subjects of art and design, music and technology and design
- Art and ability: Congruences and divergences with regard to art and competence, assessment in art lessons
- Art and culture: art in the context of cultural education, value formation and intercultural and political education
- Art and AI: exploring digitality and AI in art lessons
- Art and freedom: selected examples from applied arts, visual arts or music for dialogue-integrative teaching projects
