Encounters with nature

Environmental changes create new landscapes of social inequality and draw new maps of the world. This requires a completely different way of understanding the world - and our chance of survival in it. The cosmopolitan turn leads everyone to see the consequences of their own actions for others and, in this way, brings about the development of a global sense of responsibility. The responsible person involved cannot do without a concept of human self-reflection.

  • Poverty, socio-economic equity, and the lifeworlds of children
  • Intersectionality - the integrative analysis of the interaction of different forms and dimensions of inequality; difference in the context of environmental education
  • Central contents and goals of environmental education and education for sustainable development
  • Responsible use of resources and of the environment as a “we world”
  • Opening up of designed habitats (parks, traffic areas, nature parks, zoo) with excursion
