International mobility at the University College of Teacher Education Lower Austria (PH NÖ) is an expression of an open and future-oriented university culture. Academic exchange across national borders opens up new perspectives, strengthens intercultural skills and promotes dialogue between different education systems. Internationalisation is thus not only implemented organisationally, but also lived as a natural part of academic quality.
Mobility – whether incoming or outgoing – means much more than just a change of location. Those who complete part of their studies abroad or continue their studies in a new academic environment gain valuable experience, not only professionally but also personally: new perspectives emerge, ways of thinking expand, and the inspiration gained flows into campus life. Different cultural backgrounds shape the common discourse and strengthen the academic community.
Against this backdrop, we are delighted to welcome committed incoming students from various countries to PH NÖ again this semester to complete their studies with us.
Our incoming students come from Spain, Portugal, Greece and Germany and bring a wealth of academic and cultural experience to PH NÖ.
We welcome Rebeca from Seville. Ines and Teresa have joined us from Lisbon.
We warmly welcome Evangelia from Athens. Wiebke from Münster is now studying at PH NÖ. The diversity of the countries represented strengthens our international profile and underlines the networking of our university.
We are delighted that Yitong and Yufei from China are extending their study visit to PH NÖ and continuing their studies with us.
An inspiring start to a new academic environment requires not only structural conditions but, above all, personal encounters. The university representatives made an important contribution to this: Ana Markovic and Philip Lang led a campus tour of the university and provided authentic insights into student life. Such initiatives provide orientation, promote networking and lay the foundation for a successful start to studies. In addition, Maria Vlasitz provided enthusiastic support as an Erasmus buddy. Senad Becirovic and Jennifer Beck-Saiz accompanied the incoming students at the start of their studies at PH NÖ. Students from the university representative body showed our incoming students around the campus, Iris Trenkler introduced them to the library, and Hans Trimmel provided support with technical issues.
Erasmus+ stands for openness and dialogue: every mobility broadens horizons, every encounter deepens understanding, and every exchange contributes to actively shaping a networked, diverse and future-oriented higher education landscape.
