Aim

The Bachelor's thesis is an independent written work that must be written in accordance with the rules of good scientific practice within the framework of courses. It deals with a clearly defined research question in a careful examination of the current research discourse based on literature. In the accompanying research workshop, discussion, testing and resonance spaces are opened up to enable students to implement their research project in a scientifically adequate manner and to familiarise them with a reflexive-critical attitude towards their own research process in preparation for the assessment-relevant expert discussions.

Content

As part of their Bachelor's thesis, the assessment-relevant technical discussions and the accompanying research workshop, students engage with research discourses within the scientific community. They find, receive and discuss research literature independently and deal with a clearly defined research question in a factually correct, linguistically appropriate, linguistically inclusive and argumentatively coherent manner. In the accompanying research workshop and the assessment-relevant discussions, they provide information about their research process, plan and test important stages of writing and critically reflect on their Bachelor's thesis.
