The close cooperation with partner institutions within the framework of Erasmus+ has the effect of combining their strengths with the strengths of the University of Teacher Education Lower Austria and creating synergies for the benefit of all students.
The Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research has set strategic and operational goals in the "Measures for Internationalisation", which are being seriously and purposefully implemented at the University of Teacher Education Lower Austria in accordance with the specialised orientation of the institution. The aim is to optimally promote the mobility of students, which has risen sharply in recent years, in accordance with the framework conditions and to continue to broaden the spread of mobility in the area of teaching and administrative staff.
As called for in the European Renewal Agenda for Higher Education, the University of Teacher Education Lower Austria strives to achieve the above-mentioned goals by increasing the promotion of student, teacher and administrative staff mobility. Through Europe-wide contacts of teachers, students and administrative staff, innovative and multidisciplinary teaching and learning concepts are created. Through personal contacts, the exchange of knowledge and the joint development of knowledge are facilitated, and often fundamentally set in motion. This results in the networking of higher education systems, which leads to an increase in efficiency and innovation. Due to the focus on "inclusion" at the University College of Teacher Education Lower Austria, it is obvious that partnerships are also sought and cultivated internationally, especially in this respect.
